Karwa Chauth Special 2022 update

2022-10-12 15:29:20

Karwa Chauth is meant to strengthen the relationship between husband and wife via some rituals. Married women observe the fast and its customs to ensure the long life of their husbands.

Karwa Chauth rules might seem a bit difficult to follow at first by newly married women, but it gets easier with every passing year. The rules should be followed strictly as Karwa Chauth is an auspicious occasion that brings peace, harmony, and good fortune to people’s lives and families.

All married women break their fast after sighting the moon and worship Lord Shiva before eating Karwa Chauth Sargi in the morning. Without even a sip of water, the fast is strictly kept without food or drink. Karwa Chauth Vrat is a celebration that is greatly loved in Indian culture. It also offers good fortune to shops because Indians enjoy shopping during festive times. Both the husband and the wife dress in traditional Indian festive clothing and enjoy the holiday together.

Steps to follow on Karwa Chauth festival

1.  On this day, women need to wake up early, freshen up, get dressed and eat the Sargi prepared by their mother-in-law before sunrise.

2.  On the day of Karwa Chauth, ladies are not permitted to perform any household duties. For the pooja and celebrations, they must apply henna, dress in traditional attire, wear jewellery, and accessorise.

3.  Sharp instruments like needles, knives, and scissors should never be used.

4.  Meals including onions and garlic should not be consumed by women.

5.  During the Karwa Chauth fast, women cannot consume anything. Since they aren't even permitted to drink anything prior to breaking their fast, it's critical that they eat nourishing foods and consume enough water to last the entire day.

6.  For marital harmony and success, fasting ladies must begin their meals with something sweet.

Steps to break the fast on Karwa Chauth

1   1.Before breaking the fast, the Karwa Chauth puja thali must be made. A diya, a lota, and a matthri are typically seen in the thali.

2.To break their fast, women must view the moon through a sieve, or channi. Place the lit diya inside the channi.

3.Then, ladies must pour water from the lota in the direction of the moon while also tossing matthris as offerings.

4.Women are required to look at their husbands' faces through the same sieve they used to view the moon through before praying for them long lives and good health.

5.The fasting wife is subsequently given food and water by the husband, who also ends the fast.

The women count the elders' blessings after breaking their fast.

The Hindi Panchang states that the Chaturthi date for the Krishna Paksha of the Kartik month would begin at 1:00 am on October 13, 2022, and end at 3:08 am on October 14, 2022. On October 13 between 5:46 and 6:50 p.m. is the auspicious time for Karva Chauth Vrat Puja. Make a note of the karwa chauth date this year and mark your karwa chauth calendar to start making plans for how you and your spouse will celebrate.
