Google event in Delhi : CEO Google Sunder pichai meet Narender Modi
Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google and Alphabet, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday and expressed his eagerness to assist India's G20 presidency in order to "promote an open, connected internet that works for everybody." The Indian-American business executive posted a photo of Modi and Pichai laughing together.
"Was a pleasure to see you @sundarpichai and discuss innovation, technology, and more," the prime minister wrote in a post. It is crucial that the world keeps cooperating to use technology for sustainable human progress.
Pichai also met Telecom and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and spoke at a Google for India event.
Pichai also met President Droupadi Murmu. He said that on each visit, he notices that the Indian startup ecosystem is getting more sophisticated and that Indian startups like Glance are getting noticed around the world.
Sundar Pichai also met with women AI innovators Wysa Founder & CEO Jo Aggarwal, Niramai Health Analytix Founder Dr Geetha Manjunath, Telangana State Director of Emerging Technology Rama Devi, during the 'Women Will' session at Google for India Summit 2022, in New Delhi.
